Agri Alumni Association of Pantnagar

The Agri Alumni Association of Pantnagar (AAAP) is a dynamic and diverse community that brings together the alumni and faculty of the College of Agriculture Pantnagar. Since its inception, AAAP has been dedicated to fostering connections and collaboration among its members, who serve humanity across various fields of life.

Founded in 2008, AAAP was created to embody the unity, solidarity, and shared purpose of the Agri Alumni of Pantnagar University. With roots tracing back to 1960, these alumni have been deeply committed to the advancement of Indian agriculture and the farming community.

Our membership proudly includes former students from the University’s early years, along with its esteemed faculty members, all united by a common mission of progress and service.

Meet Our President

Mr. n.k. arora

An accomplished professional with over 45 years of experience in the pesticide and seed industries, our president has successfully developed new businesses and driven organizational growth through expertise in sourcing new chemistries and navigating industrial and institutional sectors. With a strong background in both private and public sector government liaisoning, he has consistently enabled impactful partnerships.

A postgraduate in Agriculture (1977) from Haryana Agricultural University and an Agriculture graduate (1975) from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, he has been the elected President of the Agri Alumni Association of Pantnagar for the past 15 years.

With a successful 37-year career at Bayer Crop Science, including three years post-retirement, he now serves as Business Advisor at Crystal Crop Protection Pvt. Ltd., where he has spent nearly 8 years. His leadership inspires and motivates those around him, fostering a forward-looking team environment that drives excellence and innovation in the industry.

AAAP embodies the spirit and values that were instilled in all of us during our formative years at Pantnagar university. It’s more than just a professional network; it feels like being part of a large, supportive family.

The AAAP Parivar Meet is a fiesta to meet and celebrate fellowship and camaraderie with old and new colleagues of Pant University. Its an opportune time to renew the bonds of brotherhood. As well as to update on how each one of us was contributing to the cause of national food and nutritional security.
Pantnagrians are spread all over the world and it is worthwhile to mention that their stellar contributions to agriculture research and development have been acclaimed by the scientific fraternity in India and abroad alike.
